Krakow

A few visuals from Krakow. Every year the second-year teacher-students visit Krakow. One of the things I like to do when I travel, is to look for a certain color or shape during the day. At the end of the day, I create a collage based upon this color/shape. Through this very easy exercise, I notice things I normally would ignore or pass without really seeing.

As you can see, the first task was to look for squares. The second task was to look for orange. The third day I hunted dusty pink. And the final day, I was gathering yellow. This way of visual treasure-hunting gives a different perspective of a place.

Artist: Katarzyna Depta-Garapich, showing at the 15th Crakow Art Week KRAKERS 23.-30-4-2026
